My work is inspired by overlapping themes of catharsis, change, play, taboo and the erotic. Transformative acts and moments of unveiled expression pivot around the shifting nature of the body, mind and spirit, as they exist in a dynamic cultural network. I am interested in creating objects that change over time, concealing their materials or construction methods and revealing a character so compelling that emotional cleansing is unavoidable by virtue of their impact on the human form and psyche.
